Snowy River Caravans Joins Frenchman on the Run to Help Families Facing Childhood Cancer
Snowy River Caravans will provide a caravan and campervan to support endurance athlete Eddie Tchigique and his crew during a 3,900-kilometre run across Australia for Redkite.
Melbourne, Australia — July 28, 2026 — Snowy River Caravans is proud to join Frenchman on the Run, an ambitious cross-country endurance challenge raising funds for children with cancer and their families.
On 9 August 2026, Adelaide-based endurance athlete and father of two Eddie Tchigique, known as “The Frenchman”, will set out from Cottesloe Beach in Perth with the goal of reaching Bondi Beach in Sydney in just 38 days.
Eddie will attempt to run nearly 3,900 kilometres and cover more than 100 kilometres each day, while aiming to raise $1 million for Redkite and challenge the current transcontinental running record.
Snowy River Caravans will provide a caravan and campervan as dedicated support vehicles for Eddie and his crew throughout the journey.
The vehicles will provide the team with a comfortable and practical base for rest, recovery, accommodation, meal preparation and daily planning as they travel across some of Australia’s most demanding roads and landscapes.

Throughout the 38-day journey, Australians will be able to follow Eddie’s progress through daily videos, live updates, route information and fundraising milestones.
