Snowy River Caravans has officially announced the acquisition of Geelong Caravans, marking a significant expansion into Victoria’s growing southwest corridor. The established dealership, located on the Bellarine Highway in Newcomb, has been a cornerstone of the local caravan community for nearly five decades. It currently retails brands such as Avan, Olympic, and Victory, and will continue to do so until the end of May 2025.

From June 2025, the site will be transformed into a dedicated Snowy River Caravans dealership and service centre. CEO Andrew Crank said the acquisition reflects the brand’s continued growth and long-standing ambition to service the Greater Geelong region.

“Geelong has been on our radar for years,” said Crank. “This acquisition allows us to deliver our products and services to a thriving community that appreciates quality and value in equal measure.”

Andrew Crank also acknowledged the reputation that Geelong Caravans has earned over the decades, pledging to retain warranty and service support for existing customers while enhancing the dealership’s repair and service capabilities.

“We’re proud to carry forward the customer-first legacy built by Robert Lillee and his team, while expanding the site’s capacity to meet the growing demand for service and support,” Crank added.

The acquisition is part of Snowy River Caravans’ broader mergers and acquisitions strategy, with the brand remaining active in seeking further opportunities to expand its national footprint.

Celebrating its 10-year milestone in 2025, Snowy River Caravans has grown into one of Australia’s best-selling RV brands, supported by a network of 15 dealerships and a fast-expanding product lineup. The recent release of SRV campervans and SRH hybrid caravans, alongside new dealership locations in Tasmania and now Geelong, reflects the brand’s commitment to accessibility, innovation, and customer care.
