Meet our new ambassador: Rhiannon Anderson of MasterChef and Rhiplenish

From a waterskiing champion to a MasterChef finalist in 2023, and now travelling around Australia in her SRC-21S, Rhiannon loves the adventurous life.

It was in 2023 when Rhiannon “Rhi” Anderson cooked her way to fame on MasterChef Australia. Her passion for cooking shone through as she went close to winning the whole thing – she only narrowly missed out, coming a close second. A few years later, in 2025, she returned to the famous kitchen studio on MasterChef: Back To Win.

Now, she’s embracing the momentum from her recent fame to launch her own cooking and travel series on YouTube, and she’s joined us at Snowy as our latest ambassador.

Joining the Snowy River Caravans family

Rhiannon fell in love with her Snowy after being introduced to the brand by her friend. All it took was a visit to the 2024 Townsville Caravan 4×4 and Outdoor Adventure Expo for a look, and the SRC-21S captured her attention immediately.

She chose the SRC-21S. The slide-out lounge caught her attention almost immediately, and at first sight she knew it was the right caravan for her.

“The thing I love the most is the kitchen space and how big our dining area is. In actual fact, I love everything about our van. It feels super fancy and there’s so much space,” Rhiannon says.

A MasterChef story

Rhiannon’s mum was a chef who imparted on her a love for food. “I have absolutely loved cooking my whole life,” says Rhiannon. But her MasterChef experience was at a challenging point in her life. She applied to go on MasterChef just before her dear mum and greatest inspiration passed away. It was season 15 of the series, and Rhiannon entered with humble expectations. “I was not expecting much, and I ended up coming second!” she says. The experience has changed her life completely. She now works in the food industry and runs her own food business, Rhiplenish. Her signature dish: coral trout wontons in a curry broth.

Rhiplenish on the Road

Rhiannon’s brand-new cooking series is called Rhiplenish on the Road and it will be featured on Snowy River’s own YouTube channel. In the series she will travel across Australia cooking and creating amazing recipes. In each episode, Rhiannon tells us, she’ll be preparing a fresh and innovative dish that’s designed to inspire viewers to embark on their own travel and culinary adventures.

“Our itinerary will include lakeside retreats for water skiing, special guests, mingling with local producers at vibrant markets, interviewing inspiring individuals like farmer and other travellers, and of course we’ll be indulging in the finest culinary delights.”

The road ahead is looking as adventurous as ever for Rhiannon, and we at Snowy River Caravans are excited to support her on her journey.
